The Bath Charter Township Board has voted unanimously to hire the Okemos law firm of Fahey Schultz Burzych Rhodes to serve as the Township’s legal counsel. The vote occurred at the Board’s July 15 regular meeting following its review of proposals from four area law firms. Bath Charter Township provides a wide range of public services to its residents, including police and fire services, zoning administration, and property tax administration. The Fahey Schultz firm will serve as the Township Attorney providing legal representation on all matters facing the Township. The services will include general advice and counsel to the Township Board and the Township’s Administration, handling property tax appeals before the Michigan Tax Tribunal, and labor and employment matters.
