Shaydon joined Fahey Schultz Burzych Rhodes PLC as an associate in October of 2017 after clerking with the firm since his last semester of law school. He works primarily with the firm’s growing Municipal Practice Group, with a special focus on the representation of drain and water resource commissioners throughout the state, and additionally provides support for the firm’s Business Services and Labor and Employment Practice Groups.

During law school, he gained practical skills and knowledge while working with the Kent County Office of the Defender, the United States Army J.A.G. Corps, and the Michigan Department of Treasury, Hearings Division. Additionally, he was a resource editor on the W.M.U.-Cooley Law Review and a teaching assistant and Graduate Student Assistant for faculty members of Western Michigan University Cooley Law School.

Shaydon received his law degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in May 2017. Before law school, Shaydon attended the University of Michigan, receiving Bachelor degrees in both Political Science and Spanish Language and Literature.
