Recognizing triggers for and applying the Americans with Disabilities Act properly in the workplace is difficult, but critically important for employees with disabilities and in avoiding liability for your township.  Learn practical steps for a successful and meaningful ADA analysis, how the ADA fits in with the FMLA, key requirements in the processes, forms and other tips for navigating one of the most complex areas of employment law. (Also incorporate ADA accommodations for the public (i.e. building and meeting modifications)

Presenter Information:

Helen "Lizzie" Mills joined Fahey Schultz Burzych Rhodes PLC in 2010 after graduating second in her class, receiving her law degree magna cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She is now admitted to practice in all Michigan state and federal courts and a member of the State Bar of Michigan and Federal Bar Association.
